DAMP PROOFING

If penetrating damp becomes an issue in your building, its occupants could be at risk of health issues – including respiratory problems, allergies or asthma – as a result of damp and mould.

However, we can damp proof your building through using products from Horsham-based Safeguard Europe.

RISING DAMP

Rising damp is when water moves through porous mortar joints and the masonry of your property. The tell tale signs of rising damp can be visible discolouration as s result of mineral salts tide marks and white marks on your walls, a common cause behind rising damp is due to DPC becoming damaged, bridged or more.

WOODWORM

If timber becomes infested with woodworm, this could show in the form of small holes, fine powdery dust or crumbly edges.

We can treat affected timber by using Safeguard Europe products.

CONDENSATION

Humid air trapped in a building can cause condensation and so, further down the line, mould growth. We can help prevent condensation becoming an issue for you.

WET AND DRY ROT

Either of these forms of fungal decay can affect a building whatever its age, but we can rectify rotting timber.
